I still think this is one of the best songs we ever wrote.

This version only has one verse (repeated) and no lyrics in the bridge. It does, however, have tambourine and shaker, which should tell you most of what you need to know about the Ann Arbor sessions. We were making a record with lots of flourish, but we neglected a lot of the foundation.

Most of this sounds great to me, in retrospect, but unfortunately this whole session was doomed.
